Bhubaneswar: The rate of Covid infection across Odisha has been continuously declining, said Health Director Bijay Mohapatra.
Reportedly, Odisha’s Covid situation will reach a much better position if the current situation continues ahead.
The health department has decided to break the chain of infection, abiding by Covid restriction and by avoiding going to crowded areas.
As per the rules of the pandemic, the restrictions are supposed to be eased gradually. In the first phase, the celebration of Saraswati Puja has been allowed.
Later, the State government is likely to consider the Covid situation and decide regarding the reopening of schools, he added.
