Puri Srimandir’s Singhadwara Declared ‘No Parking Zone’

Puri: With an aim to end traffic woes around the Srimandir complex, the Puri district administration has declared Singhadwara as a ‘No-Parking zone’.

In this regards, a drive has been launched to evict all the hawkers and makeshift stalls encroaching the front portion of the Sindhadwara and its surroundings. According to the new order, two-wheeler, as well as four-wheelers, will not be allowed to park in the area.

The declaration has garnered appreciation from the servitors of the Srimandir as well as the devotees. Meanwhile, Puri Collector Jyoti Prakash Dash has directed officials to strictly enforce traffic regulations near the Singhadwara and evict encroachments.
