Bhubaneswar: Protesting the BJP-led Union Government’s apathy towards Odisha, Biju Chaatra Janata Dal launched the ‘Hak Maguchi Odisha’ programme at Lower PMG Road here on Monday.
The volunteers of BJD’s student wing will start a door-to-door awareness programme to educate the masses regarding the centre’s apathetic and step-motherly attitude towards Odisha.
Reflecting on the promises made to the people of Odisha by the BJP during 2014 polls, including a special category status for the state, the BJD will educate people on how the saffron party has failed in generating employment and bringing about social as well as material progress in the state and the country.
Similarly, mini-congregation or ‘sabha’ will be organised in every village to educate the rural masses regarding BJP’s failure and the hoax promises made by the saffron party in 2014.
