Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 3,086 fresh cases of Covid including 454 in the 0-18 years age group, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Tuesday.
The new 3,086 positive cases include 652 cases from Khordha, followed by Cuttack at 325 and Sundargarh at 216.
Among the 3,086 positives, 1,797 patients are in quarantine, and 1,289 are the local contacts. Currently, the active cases stand at 42,098.

Notably, Odisha reported 17 more COVID-19 deaths after the audit today, taking the toll to 8,629 on Tuesday including two 3-month-old babies. A three-month-old minor girl of Malkangiri while another three-month-old minor boy of Ganjam district have succumbed to the virus.
