Odisha: Balasore MP Pratap Sarangi nabs liquor mafia, makes him do sit-ups

Balasore: Balasore MP Pratap Sarangi has nabbed liquor mafia in Balasore district of Odisha said reliable reports on Wednesday. 

According to reliable reports, Pratap Sarangi has made the liquor mafia members do sit-ups. The incident has been reported from Nilagiri block of Balasore.

The MP rebuked the illegal liquor dealers. Balasore MP Pratap Sarangi made them do sit-ups while holding their ears in full public glare.

Trade in spurious liquor is on the rise in the Nilagiri region. Gopinathpur has now become a safe haven for smugglers. Bidding is also allegedly being done in the open for the sale of domestic and foreign liquor.

The Balasore MP got a tip-off relating to the matter and decided to take matters in his own hands and conducted a surprize check on the late night hours on Tuesday.

After receiving the information, the Nilgiri police reached the spot, arrested those involved in the racket and is questioning them.
