Man found hanging to Raja swing in Odisha’s Cuttack dist

A man was found hanging in a swing for celebrating Raja Sankranti held at Goddess Bramhei temple in Banki NAC of Cuttack district.

Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a man was found hanging to a Raja swing in Banki NAC of Odisha’s Cuttack district. The incident has come to the fore from the Raja celebration being held at Goddess Bramhei temple in the Banki area of the district.

The deceased has been identified as Anil Behera, a resident of Sahapada village.

According to sources, Anil went to enjoy the festival celebration near Goddess Bramhei temple on the eve of Raja Sankranti. Later, he was found hanging with the swing. The family of the deceased suspect that Anil has been murdered.

The deceased’s brother informed that Anil had a heated argument with some visitors at the temple. They suspect that these people allegedly killed Anil and hanged him on the swing.

On being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it for autopsy. The cops also started a probe into the matter.
