Nuapada: After a few days of silence, leopard scare in Nuapada district of Odisha has been experienced yet again, said reliable report. A leopard was seen roaming freely in Musring reserve forest area under Nuapada forest range.

This morning, villagers of Kukudatal found a leopard sitting on a rocky area near the Musrangi Reserve Forest said reports. The leopard scare in Nuapada seems to be unabated.

The villagers even took a video of the leopard. After seeing the leopard, the villagers panicked. The locals immediately informed the Nuapada Forest Department staff.

On receiving the news, the Nuapada Forest Department staff reached the village of Kukudatal and kept a watch on the leopard and alerted the villagers. Sushil Kumar Tripathi, the Khadial Forest range officer has revealed.

It is worth mentioning here that on November 4 in Nuapada district of Odisha villagers managed to save an eight-year-old boy from the jaws of the man-eater and saved his life. It is to be noted that on the same day the tiger had preyed on a woman in another village in the district.

As per reports, the eight-year-old boy was playing in front of his house in Kadopali village under Dharambandha Police Station limits of the district when the tiger chased him. However, the alert villagers swung to action at the right moment and managed to save the boy from the grip of the tiger.
