Puri: If the law keeper becomes the lawbreaker, who can give justice to the common man? A shopkeeper in the Chandanpur area of Puri was seen stealing from a shop and now locals have demanded action against him.
One Sukant Sahu of Chandanpur area found milk packets missing from his shop on a regular basis. Despite trying his best he could not catch the thief.
Finding no other option, Sukant installed a CCTV camera at his shop recently and kept a close eye on the robber. However, to his surprise, he found an on-duty police home guard stealing the milk packets.
In the CCTV footage the home guard, who is posted at the Chandanpur police station, can be seen stealing around 10 to 15 milk packets from Sukant’s shop. The cop was so busy stealing that he could not see the CCTV camera, which caught his face and action.
