Home guard dies during training in Bhubaneswar
In a heart-wrenching incident, a home guard reportedly died during a training period at the Police Reserve Ground in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
Bhubaneswar: In a heart-wrenching incident, a home guard reportedly died during a training period at the Police Reserve Ground in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
According to reports, Basudev Mansingh, who works as a home guard at the Airfield Police station, was receiving a refreshers’ course training at the Police reserve Ground along with others.
However, Basudev who is a resident of Khurda, collapsed on the ground all of a sudden and died on the spot.
Though the exact reason behind the death of the home guard was not known, his body was rushed to the Capital Hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the matter has been initiated by the Saheed Nagar Police.
