Elections 2024: BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik to file nomination papers today

Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister of Odisha and the supremo of Biju Janta Dal (BJD), Naveen Patnaik is set to file the nomination papers for the upcoming elections today. He will file his nominations for the Hinjili Assembly seat.

Furthermore, he is scheduled to visit Tara Tarini and address a gathering in Chikiti after filing his nomination papers today. Reportedly, there will be a marathon campaihn program in Ganjam district.

According to official schedule, on 1st May the Chief Minister will campaign in Khallikot, Kabisuryanagar, Digapahandi and Chhatrapur.  He will further visit hanjnagar, Polsara, Sankhemundi and Sorda and conduct rallied on May 3. Likewise, the CM has two public rallies in Gopalpur and Aska on May 6.

BJD Supremo along with party’s star campaigners have already begun campaign for the upcoming elections in the state. Additionally, CM and 5T chairman V K Pandian appealed people to vote for BJD twice once for MP and then for MLA. Before initiating the campaigning they shared a video appealing people to vote for the party. In the clip, the Chief Minister is seen holding two conch shells in both hands.

“This time vote for Biju Janta Dal twice, once for MP and the other for MLA,” he is heard saying in the video. He further asked Odisha voters to bless the party and bring it to power again.
