Udala: Three drunken youths allegedly ransacked the Udala sub-divisional hospital in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district late last night.
As per reports, the drunken youths came to the hospital after sustaining injuries in a road mishap. However, alleging that the staff was not paying them adequate attention, they ransacked the hospital premises- breaking doors, furniture, and medical equipment.
The inebriated youths also attacked a doctor and thrashed the security guards at the hospital.
All three persons have been arrested by the police in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, health care services came to a standstill at the sub-divisional hospital as doctors and staff staged a ‘dharna’ in front of the Out-Patient Department (OPD), demanded strict action against the culprits.
