Dense fog to occur in Odisha, Collectors and SPs put on alert

Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has alerted the district collectors and Superintendents (SP) after the weather department predicted dense fog across the State.

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has alerted the district collectors and Superintendents (SP) after the weather department predicted dense fog across the State.

As predicted by the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), dense fog is very likely to occur for three days starting from tomorrow.

Meanwhile, SRC said that the police and transport officials of respective districts may take necessary steps for controlled plying of vehicles on highways during dense fog to avoid any road accident.

Check details about the dense fog warning;

Valid upto 8.30 AM of 23.12.2023:

  • Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada and Koraput.

Valid from 8.30 AM of 23.12.2023 to 8.30 AM of 24.12.2023:

  • Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagaday and Koraput.

Valid from 8.30 AM of 24.12.2023 to 8.30 AM of 25.l2.2023:

  • Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul and Dhenkanal.
