Dead body of woman recovered from Mahanadi river bed in Odisha
In a shocking incident, the dead body of a woman was recovered from Gadgadia Ghat in Mahanadi of Odisha on Wednesday.
Cuttack: In a shocking incident, the dead body of a woman was recovered from Gadgadia Ghat in Mahanadi of Odisha on Wednesday.
According to reliable reports, the woman was rescued by the fire brigade personnel under Cantonment police limits. The age of the woman is believed to be between 35 years to 40 years.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. The body has been sent to SCB by the Cantonment police to the SCB Medical College and Hospital.
On August 28, the woman was rescued by local residents while she was going to dive into the river near Deer Park. The woman said that she had gone to commit suicide.
On receiving the information, Bidanasi police station took the woman and handed her over to her family. Further investigation of the Cantonment police station is underway.
