Balangir: The Titalgarh police busted a gang of dacoits involved in several robberies with the arrest of three persons from Godar area in the district last night.
The gang used to target the local business establishments, informed Titalgarh DSP Saroj Kumar Patra saying the accused were involved in dacoits at liquor shops at Lutharbandh and Pandrapadar villages under Titlagsrh police limits recently.
Large quantity of robbed items including huge cache of liquor worth around Rs 72,000, mobile phones, Rs. 61,000 cash and a recently purchased auto rickshaw were seized from the possession of accused, Patra added.
The gang had a total of six members including three arrested persons. The other members will soon be arrested, police said.
