CMC conducts raids on meat and fish shops at various places in Cuttack

Cuttack: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) conducted raids on meat and fish shops at various places in Cuttack, said reports.

According to reports, the CMC conducted raids on the roadside meat and fish shops. The raids have been conducted in Biju Patnaik square and various other squares in the city.

The CMC enforcement squad went to various parts of the city and conducted raids. The raids have been conducted under the leadership of the CMC Deputy Commissioner.

Reports say that, team CMC has seized meat and equipment in the raid. It is worth mentioning here that the Orissa High Court had rapped the CMC over the inaction relating to roadside meat shops.
