Puri: Chattisa Nijoga meeting will take place today in Puri said reports on Tuesday. The sevayats of all the Nijogas will be present in the meeting. The said meeting will be held at Niladri Bhakti Bhawan in Puri at 5 pm. According to reports, the Jagannath Temple Chief Administrator Ranjan Kumar Das will preside over the meeting.
In the meeting to be held under the chairmanship of the chief administrator of Srimandi, Sanghar Burma, there will be a discussion about the repair of the Natamandap. Detailed measurements will be taken to repair the cracks in the Natamandap beams.
Due to the order of the High Court, the renovation of Natamundap will be completed by the end of next April. The main beam will be braced to repair the crack. Four stainless steel beams will be installed. At this time, how the rituals of the Mahaprabhu will be smooth and devotees can see Mahaprabhu will be discussed in today’s Chhatisha Niyoga meeting.
The Orissa HC recently has directed the Odisha Government to appoint a Committee for the Ratna bhandar issue within four weeks time. A Ratna Bhandar committee will be formed and the same will be discussed in the Chattisa Nijoga meeting.
The administration of Shree Mandir in Puri had proposed for the committee on last January 12. A high power committee will be formed to supervise the Ratna bhandar. This committee will be formed within a maximum of four weeks.
The committee will be chaired by a retired judge. The Court further said that the Committee should be formed including sevayats and engineers within two months and the committee will take the final decision on re-opening of Srimandir Ratna Bhandar.
While speaking about the development, senior Lawyer Pitambar Acharya said that with the verdict of the Orissa High Court, the hindrances to re-open the Ratna Bhandar and counting of the ornaments of the Holy Trinity has become clear.
