Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, the body of girl was found hanging in a private hostel in Bhubaneswar the capital city of Odisha.
According to0 reports, the girl was found hanging near the old Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) office in BJB Nager area of Bhubaneswar.
The locals immediately informed the local police station. The police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. Whether the death is a suicide or a murder it is yet to be ascertained.
The hanging body of a young woman was recovered from a hostel under Badagada police station area limits of Bhubaneswar. The deceased woman has been identified as 21-year-old Sarojini Sandya of Jagdalpur area in Puri district of Odisha. It is reported that Sarojini was working in a hotel. Her family reached the spot after receiving the news of the girl’s death.
Further it is worth mentioning here that, Sarojini’s family members were informed about her death on Monday night. However, the local lawyer raised the question why the hostel door was broken without the family’s permission.
The lawyer further alleged that multiple young women were being kept by the landlord without any certificate, raising suspicions. On the other hand, the police reached the spot and seized the dead body and sent it to Capital Hospital for autopsy. A detailed probe has been initiated by the police in this matter.
