BJD to hold State Executive Meeting today at Sankha Bhawan

The BJD State Executive Meeting will be held today at Sankha Bhawan in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar after a span of three years.

Bhubaneswar: The BJD State Executive Meeting will be held today at Sankha Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. The meeting will be held today after a gap of three years.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik will preside over the meeting. All MLAs, MPs, and other senior members will be seen attending the meeting. The meeting will be held ahead of BJD’s 27th foundation day on December 26.

To mark the occasion of BJD’s 27th foundation day, the party has prepared a number of events across the state.

The primary agenda of the BJD State Executive meeting will be to discuss about the upcoming 2024 elections. BJD aims at getting above 50 percent polls in its favour. Currently, the approximate number of voters in the state is about three crore and 26 lakhs. Today, BJD will prepare a strategy on how to get 1.3 crore of the total votes in its favor.

The State Government is going to hold a district level youth conclave from today. It will be attended by 5T and Naveen Odisha Chairman VK Pandian. Further, CM Naveen Patnaik is likely to visit Bargarh and Balangir districts of Odisha on December 23. The State Government is also likely to declare Padampur as a district soon.
