BJD not to forge alliance with any party in the upcoming Elections: Naveen Patnaik
Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday informed that the conch party will not forge alliance with any party in the upcoming elections-2019.
Speaking to the newsmen about the possibility of an alliance with other parties, Patnaik said, “BJD will not forge alliance with any party. We will fight our own.”
“Winnability will be the main criteria for selection of candidates,” he said when answering on BJD’s measures to select candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha and State Assembly elections.

It is worthwhile to mention here that there are lots of aspirants for the ticket of the regional party. The number of contenders for the party tickets is increasing day by day with the joining of new members in the party.
