Bhubaneswar DCP issues alert against deep fake ahead of elections, officers being trained
Keeping in mind the upcoming general elections, the Bhubaneswar DCP has issued an alert regarding deep fake on Thursday.
Bhubaneswar: Keeping in mind the upcoming general elections, the Bhubaneswar DCP has issued an alert regarding deep fake on Thursday. According to reliable reports, Bhubaneswar DCP is apprehensive of the fact that deep fakes of politicians may be made viral due to the upcoming elections.
It is worth mentioning here that chosen Commissionerate police officers are being trained in ‘fact check’ on the internet. After the training program the trained police officers shall be capable of identifying deep fake videos and photos.
Reports say that these police officers will be helped by 20 cyber experts, DCP Bhubaneswar Pratik Singh further added in this case.
