2 School Students Meet Watery Grave In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack:  Two Class 9 students  named  Subham Behera and  Nishant Padhi  met watery grave after drowning  near Cuttack-42, Mouza Road  bridge of Kathojodi  river  in Cuttack district of Odisha today.

The deceased  have been identified as Sushant Behera, and  Nishant Padhi of Netaji Nagar in Cuttack. Both of them were the students of Class IX in Kendriya Vidyalaya.

As per the report, Subham and Nishant  had gone  to Kathojodi river  to take bath  after  playing  Holi. While taking bath  they went deep into the river and started drowning. The locals found them drowning and  informed the fire department.

After getting informed, fire fighters rushed to the spot and rescued the students. They were then rushed to SCB medical college and Hospital, Cuttack where they were declared dead by doctor.
