2 killed, another critical as 2 bikes collide head-on in Odisha’s Koraput
The accident took place on the Jalaput-Patrapur main road.
Koraput: In a tragic incident, as many as two persons were killed while another sustained critical injury in a road mishap in Koraput district of Odisha on Saturday. The accident took place on the Jalaput-Patrapur main road.
The deceased persons have been identified as Dhania Khara and Manik Khemundu of Khamara village under Nandapur Block of Koraput district. The injured person is Rabindra Khara of Palam village under Lamtapur Block.
As per reports, the two bikes were coming from opposite directions and collided head-on on the main road in between Jalaput and Patraput. Following the accident the two persons were killed on the spot while another one sustained critical injury. The locals rushed him to the Community Health Centre in Lamtapur. He is under treatment now.
As per the people who visited the spot said that the accident was so horrendous that both the bikes got damaged.
