WR cancels 36 trains on Ahmedabad-Mumbai Route from August 25 to 28, Check details

According to an official statement released by the WR, 36 trains will not be operational from August 25 to 28 due to non-interlocking work.

New Delhi: The Western Railway has made an important announcement regarding the cancellation of 36 trains on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route. This cancellation is scheduled to take place from August 25 to August 28. According to an official statement released by the Western Railway, 36 trains, which either originate from Ahmedabad or pass through it en route to Mumbai, will not be operational during this period. The reason behind this decision is the planned non-interlocking work near Surat station.

An official release provided details of the block that will be implemented for the non-interlocking work. This block is scheduled to be in effect from August 26 to 28. The primary purpose of this block is to facilitate the construction of a third railway line between Surat and Udhna stations in the southern region of Gujarat.

“Due to the work, 36 trains between Ahmedabad and Mumbai will remain cancelled between August 25 and 28. Some of these trains include the Bhuj-Bandra Express, the Ajmer-Dadar Express, Dadar-Ahmedabad Express and Mumbai Central-Hapa Express,” the release said.
