Special perfume of Kannauj to be used during Ram Temple Consecration ceremony

Special perfumes from Kannauj will be sent for Ram Lalla to Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple on January 22.

Kannauj: Preparation for the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya is on peak as only few days are left for the special occasion. Meanwhile, special perfumes from Kannauj will be sent for Ram Lalla to Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple on January 22. The Perfumers of Kannauj, a city famous for perfumes in Uttar Pradesh have prepared the special perfumes for Sri Ram.

This perfumes and attars (fragrant water) will be to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Kannauj Attars and Perfumes Association president Pawan Trivedi said on Wednesday.

Speaking about the perfumes prepared for Ram Lalla, Pawan Trivedi said, “Perfumers have jointly prepared some special fragrances for Ram Lalla. After collecting these perfumes and fragrant water (attars) on a chariot, it will be taken on a tour of the city. After that the perfumes will be sent to Ayodhya later today.”

The famous perfumes of Kannauj such as Atar Mitti’, ‘Attar Motiya’, ‘Rooh Gulab’, sandalwood oil and henna will be used for creating a fragrant atmosphere around the deity. The perfumers keeping the winter in mind, have also prepared ‘Attar Shamama’ for Ram Lalla which helps in protecting from cold.

The consecration ceremony of the Ram temple will be organised on January 22 in Ayodhya. Over 7,000 people including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other celebrities are likely to attend the special ceremony.
