Couple and daughter killed for marrying against family’s will in Bihar
A woman, her husband and their minor daughter were allegedly killed by her father and brother in Bhagalpur district of Bihar.
Patna: A woman, her husband and their minor daughter were allegedly killed by her father and brother in Bhagalpur district of Bihar. According to reports, the accused killed the family for getting married against their wish.
The accused, identified as Pappu Singh and Dhiraj Kumar Singh, the father and brother of the woman respectively were strongly against the deceased identified as Chandni marrying with Chandan. Reportedly, the father-son opposed the marriage due to the age gap between the couple.
The accused came to the house and shot the small family. The eyewitness claimed that they saw Chandan was begging for mercy when they were being hit with an iron rod by the accused.
In the incident, Chandni Kumari, her husband Chandan Kumar and her two-year-old daughter died on the spot. After killing them, the accused fled from the spot.
After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, seized the bodies and sent them for autopsy. The cops also recovered five spent cartridges and the iron rod from the crime scene. A detailed investigation and search operation to nab the accused has been launched.
