Narcotics cell seized 370 kg ganja worth Rs 40 lakh; Two arrested
A team of Dadri Police and Gautam Budh Nagar Narcotics Cell seized a container truck and recovered 370 kg of ganja from it.
Noida: In a joint operation, the Dadri Police and Gautam Budh Nagar Narcotics Cell successfully apprehended a container truck carrying drugs. The officers discovered a staggering 370 kilograms of ganja during the seizure.
Two individuals were caught on the spot and have been taken into custody in connection with the illicit consignment. The estimated value of the seized cannabis is reported to be around Rs 40-45 lakh.
Speaking about the significant operation, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) for Greater Noida, Ashok Kumar, revealed that a thorough investigation is now underway. Authorities are determined to uncover any potential links associated with the accused, including the origin and destination of the illegal ganja.
