Man arrested for morphing Mumbai woman’s nude pics
The D B Marg police have apprehended a 24-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh for morphing Mumbai woman's nude pics.
Mumbai: The D B Marg police have apprehended a 24-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh for harassing and defaming a 21-year-old woman after their friendship came to an end.
The accused, identified as Prince Kumar Bharti, originally hailing from Bihar, had initially connected with the young woman on a social media platform back in 2020.
However, things took a troubling turn when he visited Mumbai in 2022 to meet her. Following the disputes and disagreements, the woman decided to end ties with Bharti, which angered him.
Bharti allegedly demanded a sum of Rs 2 lakh from the victim, claiming that he had spent this amount on her during their friendship.
He reportedly created three fake accounts in the woman’s name and posted morphed images of her.
Distressed by these actions, the woman sought help from the police. The D.B. Marg police acted swiftly and arrested Prince Kumar Bharti on Friday.
