FIR lodged against MLA Jitendra Awhad over ‘Lord Ram was Non-Vegetarian’ remark
This is the fourth FIR that has been registered against Awhad in connection with his statement on Lord Ram.
Mumbai: Another FIR was registered against NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MLA Jitendra Awhad in Navghar Police station in Maharashtra over his remark ‘’Lord Ram was Non-Vegetarian’. The information was reported by ANI in a X post on Saturday.
As per reports, a case has been registered against the NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad under section 295A of the Indian Penal Code.
The case was registered based on a complaint filed by Bajrang Dal leader Rupesh Vijay Shankar Dubey, Navghar Police reportedly said.
It is to be noted that this is the fourth FIR that has been registered against Awhad in connection with his statement on Lord Ram.
