Female TTE assaults passenger in Bareilly, Watch

A female Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) at Bareilly railway station went was seen assaulting a passenger in a video is going viral.

Bareilly: A female Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) at Bareilly railway station went was seen assaulting a passenger in a video rolling over the internet. In the video, a girl is seen pulled by her collar.

The accused TTE has been identified as Asha Gangwar. As per the video, the passenger was then allegedly dragged to the station master’s office by two of Gangwar’s colleagues where she was assaulted. She was also forced to give a written apology at the Railway Protection Force (RPF) police station at Bareilly Junction.

However, Sanjeev Sharma, senior divisional commercial manager, informed that they have not received a written complaint by the victim in this regard. Meanwhile, based on video footage we have suspended TTE Asha Gangwar while an inquiry is being conducted by Commercial Inspector D D Mishra.

According to reports, the passengers was travelling with a valid ticket on the Lalkuan-Kasganj Express on Sunday but forgot to take it back from her friend who had to get down at the next station.

Further investigation is underway.
