2-year-old boy falls into borewell in Gujarat’s Jamnagar, rescued later
A two year old boy fell into a borewell in Gujarat on Tuesday, was rescued during the morning hours of Wednesday.
Gujarat: A two year old boy fell into a borewell in Gujarat on Tuesday, was rescued during the morning hours of Wednesday. The incident was reported from Govana village in Gujarat’s Jamnagar, said reliable reports in this regard.
Reportedly, the two year old boy fell into the borewell in Gujarat at around 6:30 PM on Tuesday. Teams from Fire Service department, SDRF (State Disaster Response Force), and NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) were called for the rescue operation.
As per reports from reliable sources, the child was rescued after a nine hour rescue operation at around 4:00 AM on Wednesday morning.
Post the rescue operation, the child was rushed to a hospital in Jamnagar for immediate medical attention.
Earlier in the month of January, a similar incident was reported from Dwarka district in Gujarat. A three year old girl had fallen into a borewell.
It had taken an eight hour rescue operation to pull the girl out of the well. However, she lost her life while being taken to the hospital, within an hour of her rescue. She was rushed to a hospital in Khambhalia town where she was declared dead upon arrival.
