The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is all set to launch tomorrow in India and we are quite excited about that. The Venue is the company’s popular sub 4m SUV in India and it is expected to receive some important upgrades through its facelift variant. The new Venue will share a similar look to that of the new Tucson (global variant).

The Hyundai Venue is the direct competitor of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Mahindra XUV300 in India. Prior to its launch tomorrow here are some of the important details of the SUV that you should know.

Engine

The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is expected to be offered in petrol as well as diesel engines. The petrol engine will be offered in two variants while the diesel engine will be offered in a single variant. The diesel engine will be a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine or a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The 1.0-litre petrol engine produces 120PS power and 172 Nm of peak torque. The 1.2-litre petrol engine offers 83PS power and 114Nm of peak torque. Similarly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine offers 100PS power and 240Nm of peak torque.

Design

The design of the 2022 Hyundai Venue is very sporty in comparison to the current generation of the SUV. The front grille receives a major change in comparison to the current generation. The Front LED headlights and the DRLs are integrated. The bumper gets a refreshed design too. However, the sides of the SUV are more or less the same. The other changes in the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift are the LED lights at the rear and the alloy wheels.

Features

The cabin features on the 2022 Hyundai Venue include features like fresh upholstery and features Home to car (H2C) with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. The other features include a digital driver display, wireless charging, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof, ventilated front seats, reclining seats for rear passengers and a reverse parking camera.

Price

When it comes to the price of the SUV, the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will cost between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 12 lakh (avg ex-showroom, India).
