Three new Kia cars to launch in India in 2024

Kia India is all set to dazzle the automobile market of India with the launch of three new car models in 2024, which will mark the fifth year of the brand in the country.
The upcoming three Kia cars are Kia Sonet, the Carnival MPV, and the new EV9.

2024 Kia Sonet Facelift

Kia has unveiled the facelifted version of the popular SUV Sonet. the company has already commenced the bookings for the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift in India. The price reveal date has not been specified but the company is expected to make the announcement sometime in January 2024.

Kia will be offering the facelifted version of the Sonet in three engine options with three trim levels. It will also be available in four transmission options. It will take on the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Fronx.

2024 Kia Carnival MPV

The next-in-line to launch is the next-generation Kia Carnival. It will likely be launched in mid-2024 with a price tag of around Rs 50 lakh.
The new Carnival MPV will feature an SUV-like design with new features. Kia is expected to offer a new hybrid petrol engine option as well as in seven and nine-seater variants with the Carnival 2024.
Moreover, there could also be a Hi-limousine, which is said to be an advanced four-seat version of the Carnival.
The engine option to be offered will be a 1.6-litre full hybrid, a 3.5-litre V6, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine.

Kia EV9

The South Korean automaker is expected to introduce India’s first three-row electric vehicle that will be called the Kia EV9 which was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo.

The production-ready version of the new EV9 will likely arrive in India in 2WD and 4WD options in 2024. The EV will offer a range of 400-500km. Kia might place it in the Rs. 90 lakh range in a CBU guise.
