Tata Punch EV gets discount of up to Rs 50,000, Know details about the offer

Tata Punch is one of the best-selling EVs offered by the company in the current period. According to the latest reports by Autocar India, the EV is getting a discount of up to Rs 50,000. Well the discount offered by the company is for the first time on the EV. The maximum discount amount on the EV is on the top-spec variant-Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC fast charger variant.

According to sources, the Tata dealerships had received large units of the top-spec Empowered +S LR variant that is offered with a faster 7.2kW AC charger (AC FC). So, in order to clear the inventory, the car received a flat discount of Rs 20,000 along with insurance and additional dealer discount. This takes the total discount up to Rs 50,000. This means that the top spec variant of the Tata Punch will cost Rs 15 lakh instead of Rs 15.49 lakh. If a buyer is planning to get an EV at this price point, he can opt for the Citroen eC3 Shine Dual Tone Vibe, which costs Rs 1.5 lakh less at Rs 13.49 lakh. However, a user does not find any equipments on the car.

The Tata Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC FC is powerd by a 35kWh battery that offers an ARAI rated range of 421 km. The motor offers 122hp power and premium features such as hill-descent control, leatherette seats, a sunroof, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, infotainment screen of 10.25-inches etc.

The sub-4m electric SUV segment is getting more competitive. Mahindra and Mahindra has recently unveiled its new sports utility vehicle (SUV) will be called ‘Mahindra XUV 3XO’. The vehicle will be launched on April 29, said the press release by the company.

The upcoming  XUV 3XO, is rumoured to be an updated version of the  Mahindra XUV300 facelift. It will be manufactured at the company’s Nashik unit in Maharashtra.
