Tata Motors has displayed the Tata Curvv at the Bharat mobility Expo 2024 and we expect the production version of the SUV to be the same. The launch and sale of the Tata Curvv is expected to be in first half of 2024. The SUV will be available in multiple powertrain options.
Important details
The Tata Curvv SUV will be pitched against the likes of some popular SUVs like the Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara and Hyryder. The styling of the Curvv SUV has not changed against the earlier design that was showcased at Auto Expo last year.
When it comes to the design of the SUV, the Curvv offers a LED light bar that is quite similar to that of the Nexon facelift. Grille of the SUV is a mix of body colour and piano black. The front bumper offers new headlamp and foglamp housings. An additional air vent is present between grille and license plate housing.
When it comes to sides of the SUV, the wing mirrors can be seen mounted on the doors. The LED light bar is dark while the air inlets on the rear bumper get additional reflectors. A full LED setup is expected on the top models of the Curvv. We can also expect 360-degree camera along with 18-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of dimensions, the Tata Curvv is 4,308mm in length, 1810mm width and 1630mm in height. The boot space of the SUV will be 422 litres. Sources have revealed that the Curvv will get multiple powertrains and the EV will be on sale first.
The ICE model of the Curvv will be available in both petrol as well as diesel. The diesel engine will be the same as that of the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel. When it comes to petrol variant we will get a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 125hp of power and 225Nm of torque.
