Anand Mahindra has reacted to a video of a cute little boy who wants to buy the Mahindra Thar worth lakhs for just Rs 700.
Mahindra & Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra has shared a video of a cute little boy who wants to buy the Mahindra Thar worth lakhs for just Rs 700. Note that the Mahindra Thar price starts from Rs 10.98 Lakh onwards. It is currently one of the most popular SUVs in India.
The video shows the boy having a conversation with his father. It seems the adorable boy believes the Mahindra Thar and XUV 700 are the same and can be purchased for Rs 700. The Noida boy has caught the attention of Anand Mahindra who got to know about him from a friend, as per his X post.
Anand Mahindra has shared the 1-minute and 29-second video and said that if they were to sell the Thar for Rs 700, they would soon be bankrupt. His X post reads, ”My friend Sooni Taraporevala sent me this saying “I love Cheeku!” So I watched some of his posts on Instagram (@cheekuthenoidakid) and now I love him too. My only problem is that if we validated his claim and sold the Thar for 700 bucks, we’d be bankrupt pretty soon.”

The social media users are amused by the father-son conversation and many requested the adorable boy’s wish to be filled.
One user requested Anand Mahindra to be his Santa and fulfil the kid’s wish by gifting him a Thar. While another commented, ”Good idea to make 700 rs. Thar or XUV 700 toy car and to be gifted with selected models. It will be rage like Hot Wheels among kids and create a kids fan club.”
