Bajaj is looking forward to launch another motorcycle in the 150cc market and it might be the CT 150X. The new motorcycle has been spotted (in a camouflaged mode) while testing in India. It is expected that company might be looking forward to extend the CT lineup in India. Certain elements of the upcoming bike have revealed that is a CT model.

Initially reported by Autocar India, we can see that the design element of the upcoming bike takes cues from the CT 125X. The test bike offered a circular headlight, tall and wide handlebar and many other elements. It also gets handguards which is quite unusual in the segment (handguards are present on the CT 125X too). We also get a sump guard as well as braced handlebar on the test mule.

We could spot a disc brake at front and we hope that it will be equipped with ABS. We are quite doubtful about the rear disc brake (with or without ABS) as it will increase the cost of the motorcycle.

In terms of engine, we expect Bajaj to offer the same engine as the P150, which has been discontinued. The newly launched N150 offers the same engine as the P150 and has replaced the same. The Bajaj Pulsar P150 was offered with an air-cooled, 149.68cc single-cylinder engine that offers output of 14.5hp at 8,500rpm and 13.5Nm at 6,000rpm.

The CT 150X when launched in India will serve as a commuter motorcycle and will add up in the 150cc fleet of Bajaj. Currently, Bajaj offers Pulsar 150 as well as CT 150X in the 150cc lineup. The CT150 X when launched in India will be a more appealing for the buyers who are from tier-3 cities or towns. The motorcycle is basic and gets a single seat and can be used for delivery purposes too.
