2024 Jeep Meridian facelift to launch in India soon

Jeep has confirmed to launch the Meridian facelift in India soon. However, the carmaker did not specify the launch and booking date yet. Prior to this, there was no indication from the company about the SUV. On the other hand, the upcoming Jeep Wrangler was seen testing on multiple occasions. Now, it seems the company is planning to unveil the 2024  Jeep Meridian facelift following the launch of the new Wrangler.

The Jeep Meridian, which was first launched in India in 2022, has received mild updates over the years. Now, the upcoming facelift version of the Compass-based SUV is expected to be revamped with new exterior changes and advanced features.

The changes we might expect from the Meridian facelift will likely be a updated front and rear bumper along with a new grille. It might also be equipped with new exterior paint schemes and tweaked alloy wheel design. However, the company might continue to offer the same dimensions as the current version of the SUV.

The 2024 Meridian model will likely feature a Level 2 ADAS suite, a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen with new UI, and rear window blinds. In comparison, the current Meridian comes with features such as a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, ventilated and powered front-row seats, digital instrument panel, and a 360-degree camera. Some of these features might be carried to the updated 2024 version.

The powertrain options of the new Meridian facelift will likely remain unchanged. It might continue to come with the same 2.0-litre diesel motor coupled with a six-speed manual and a nine-speed automatic torque converter unit. Also on offer with 4WD configuration limited to the automatic variants.
