These Samsung Galaxy Smartphones to receive Android 14 update with One UI 6
Samsung has released the list of smartphones that will receive an update to Android 14 with latest One UI 6 in the coming months.
Samsung has released the list of smartphones that will receive One UI 6 update based on Android 14 in the coming months. The company’s latest One UI 6 interface will be rolled out to some Galaxy S series, Z series, and A series handsets. Samsung provides up to four years of OS and five years of security patch updates for recent smartphone models.
Samsung is expected to add some other models to the list in the coming weeks.
Samsung One UI 6 update
According to Samsung, the first to receive the update will be the Galaxy S23 series, which was launched recently. Apart from the Galaxy S23 series of smartphones, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series phones will also receive the Samsung’s One UI 6 update based on the latest Android 14.
In addition to its flagship and foldable phones, Samsung will also update the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A53 will also get the latest One UI 6 update, according to Samsung.
Meanwhile, several of the Flip and Fold series phones are also in the list of devices to receive the update. Samsung Galaxy Z-series smartphones including the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be eligible to receive the Android 14 update.
However, the Galaxy S20 series that was released in 2020, and the Galaxy Z Fold which was launched in 2019 will not get the update. Apart from these two, some newly launched Galaxy M and Galaxy F series phones are also not eligible for the Android 14 update.
This suggests that the list of phones that will be updated to Android 14 will be expanded based on regions where these smartphones are available, at a later date.
