These iPhones are eligible to get the latest iOS 17 update this month, Check the full list here

Apple iOS 17 update will likely be launched in September. The latest iOS update is expected to introduce a host of updates along with some exciting features. As per tradition, some old iPhone models will not support the latest iOS 17 update. So, the older iPhone users will not get to experience the iOS 17.

The iPhone users with iPhone X or the iPhone 7 from 2017 or an older model might be unable to get the updates. While, the iPhone XS,  iPhone 11, and higher models will likely support the iOS 17 update.

To find out if your iPhone is compatible with iOS 17, then first check if your device model name is in the list or not. You can check the Model Name of your iPhone by going to Settings>> General, and then tap on About. You get the model name of your iPhone there.

The other iPhone models except from the models listed above will not support iOS 17 update. These device won’t receive a update notification for the new software. For example, if you own an iPhone X or an older version, the latest software you can use on that phone is iOS 16. The iPhone fanatics who want to get the latest iOS 17 and it’s feature will need to get a recent iPhone model.

Meanwhile, Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone 15 series along with the iOS 17 update at an launch event in September 2023. The iPhone 15 lineup is said to have the following models- iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
