Samsung Galaxy S24 series launch soon: Ultra model to feature 4K 120fps video recording
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone is tipped to support 4K@120fps video recording and Nightography Zoom feature.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is said to be launched on January 17, 2024. The leaked reports have suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series will have three models –such as the Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24+, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The Ultra model of the series is expected to be a camera centric smartphone with advanced features. According to a new leak report, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will support 4K@120fps video recording and have the Nightography Zoom feature for better photography in low light.
The 4K@120fps video recording is not spotted in many smartphones. The device is also said to offer seamless zoom at 4K 60fps, tipped reliable tipster Ice Universe. However, the tipster said the 4K@120fps video recording functionality is in the testing phase and “may not be preserved in the end.”
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumored to sport a 200MP primary lens that will likely record 4K videos at 120fps, and it remains to be seen what video resolutions and frame rates the other three cameras will support.
The base Samsung Galaxy S24 phone will feature a 6.2 inch Full HD+ 120Hz SoC, Exynos 2400 SoC, 4,000 mAh with Super Fast Charging, triple camera unit (50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto), and a 12MP selfire camera. The device will support Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E and the camera will have 3x optical zoom.
The Plus model of the series will likely be equipped with 6.7″ QHD+ 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 4,900 mAh with Super Fast Charging 2.0, and support for Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 7.
The triple rear unit on the handset will include a 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical. It will have a 12MP selfie shooter. It will likely pack 12GB RAM and 1TB Storage.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely feature a 6.8″ QHD+ 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 5,000 mAh with Super Fast Charging 2.0, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0/Wireless PowerShare. The phone will likely support Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 7, UWB. It will likely pack 8GB RAM and 512GB Storage.
The cameras of the device will be 200MP primary lens, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, 50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom along with a 12MP selfie sensor. It will likely pack 12GB RAM and 1TB Storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will likely be offered in Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet, Amber Yellow, while the top end Galaxy S24 Ultra model tipped to be available in Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, Titanium Yellow.
