iQoo 12 Pro to pack 5,100mAh Battery: Might not receive 200W fast charging support
A new leak report has suggested that the upcoming iQoo 12 Pro will come with only 120W fast charging speed not the 200W fast charging support.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQoo is planning to introduce the iQoo 12 Series- iQoo 12, and iQoo 12 Pro on November 7, 2023. We have received many leak reports about the upcoming series smartphones. Now, a new report tipster DigitalChatStation on Chinese social platform Weibo, has suggested that the upcoming iQoo 12 Pro will come with only 120W fast charging speed not the 200W fast charging support, which was seen in the previous generation iQoo 11 Pro.
The company introduced the 200W fast charging support with iQoo 10 Pro. Later, it was offered with both the iQoo 11 Pro, iQoo 11S.
To make up for the absence of the reduced fast charging speed, the manufacturer plans to add a bigger battery with the iQOO 12 Pro.
According to a Weibo post, iQoo’s parent Vivo has decided to put a hold on providing 200W fast charging support to smartphones. The company is said to instead work to manufacture smartphones with 120W or 100W fast charging speed, but with up to 6,000mAh battery.
So, it is expected that the upcoming iQoo 12 Pro and iQoo 12 will reportedly get 120W fast charging. The company will also pack 50W wireless charging support on the Pro version. However, the company may improve battery capacity for both the upcoming handsets. The iQOO 12 is tipped to come with a 5,000mAh battery, while the iQOO 12 Pro model might pack a 5,100mAh battery.
However, previous leak reports had suggested that the iQoo 12 will pack a 4,880mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
The iQoo 12 series is expected to launch on November 7. Previous reports have suggested the specifications and the colour options of the upcoming smartphones. Both handsets are said to launch in black, red, and white colour options.Both handsets are said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
