How to use TrueCaller SMS Filtering feature on iPhone to filter spam

TrueCaller provides a good feature for those who are annoyed by spam and fraud messages. The feature is called TrueCaller SMS filtering, it will helps users identify spam and fraud messages and manage the messages.

With this feature, you don’t need to manually delete these messages regularly. The TrueCaller app helps users identify incoming calls and block spam calls on their phones. It’s SMS filtering feature can help users manage their text messages.

TrueCaller introduced the SMS filtering feature for iPhones with roll out of the iOS 14. The feature works offline to process SMS filtering on your mobile device. The app offers SMS filtering for known and unidentified senders, transactions, promotions, and junk SMS. The SMS filtration options identify the following categories of spam messages.

Finance: All bank SMS, OTPs, and related text messages.

Orders: All e-commerce related text messages in this tab.

Reminders: Bill reminders, subscriptions and more.

Coupons: Promotional SMS with a coupon code .

Offers: You will find all promotional SMS that have a discount or an offer here.

How to enable TrueCaller SMS Filtering feature on iPhone

• Open the TrueCaller app on your iPhone.
• Now, Go to the iPhone Settings
• Then go to Messages.
• Click on ‘Unknown & Spam’ option.
• Turn the toggle on for Filter Unknown Senders.
• Select the Truecaller option
• Tap enable.

Once SMS filtering feature is enabled, TrueCaller will automatically remove spam and fraudulent messages from your inbox. You may tap on the “Spam” or “Fraud” tabs available at the top of the SMS screen to view these filtered messages. After reviewing the messages, you can choose whether to report or block the sender.
