Asus has launched a new sleek, lightweight, and durable Chromebook Plus CX34 (CX3402CBA) laptop in India. It comes packed with features that will improve productivity. The company claims that “the laptop is the perfect choice for individuals and professionals striving for enhanced productivity.”
Specifications
The Chromebook Plus CX34 has a model name of CX3402CBA and features a 14.0-inch, FHD (1920 x 1080) screen with Wide view, Anti-glare feature, LED Backlit, brightness of 250nits, Screen-to-body ratio of 80 per cent. Customers can avail the laptop in non-touch screen, touch screen option.
The laptop has a sleek design with with durable hinges that allow for a complete 180-degree flat position and meets US MIL-STD 810H durability standards.
Running on Chrome operating system, the Chromebook Plus CX34 is powered by Intel 12th Core i7 processor. The Chromebook Plus CX34 packs up to 8GB, 16GB LPDDR5 on board memory (RAM) and 128G UFS, 256G UFS, 512GB SSD storage. The laptop also gets Intel UHD Graphics.
The Asus Chromebook Plus CX34 features a Backlit Chiclet Keyboard with Asus’ Antimicrobial Guard protection and a 5.7-inch touchpad.
It sports a 1080p FHD sensor with privacy shutter and Temporal Noise Reduction. Asus offers a 50Wh 3-cell Li-ion long life rechargeable lithium polymer battery in the laptop. The battery can last for around 10 hours on a single charge through a 45W adaptor.
The laptop also has Wi-Fi 6(802.11ax) (Dual band) 2*2 and Bluetooth 5.3 support. The I/O Ports of the device include a 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C support display / power delivery, and one HDMI 1.4 port. Moreover, it retails with a Wired optical mouse and weighs 1.44 kg.
The CX3402 also packs preloaded Google Play Store, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Express, LumaFusion, Magic Eraser powered by Google Photos AI, HDR effect, portrait blur, and offline access to Google Workspace files.

Asus Chromebook Plus CX3402 is priced at Rs 39,990 for the Intel Core i3, 8GB/128GB option on Flipkart.com. The laptop can also be bought offline through commercial PC channel partners.
As an introductory offer, Asus is offering a complimentary 3-month trial of Adobe Photoshop Web for buyers purchasing a Chromebook Plus by January 31, 2024. Asus offers the laptop in two colour options of Black and White.
