Angul: Huge python spotted in Angul! The 10-foot-long reptile was immobile after gobbling up as many as nine hens in a farm.
The python slowly crept into the farm and ate the chicken. This incident has been reported from the chicken farm of Pakha Janak Sahu of Dhokuta village in Angul district of Odisha.
Reports say that, the 10-foot-long python snake wandered inside the chicken farm. Seeing that, the chickens began to scream in fear.
Then reportedly the snake killed as many as nine chickens one by one and swallowed them. After killing and swallowing the chicken, the snake could no longer move. So the python was seen sleeping in a corner of the farm motionlessly.
Seeing this, Janak Sahu was very frightened. And informed the nearby snake rescue members Sushant Kumar Sahu and Bishwa Ranjan Behera.
After getting this news of the huge python spotted in Angul, Sushant and Bishwa reached the spot. They managed to rescue the snake safely. A huge crowd gathered to see the huge python.
However, after rescuing the snake, it was first given to the custody of the nearby Karatapata forest beat office. After that, the 10-foot-long python was released in the forest in the presence of Bhajman Raul and Uchhab Sahu, watch officers of the forest beat office of Karatapata.
