President Droupadi Murmu to grace 12th Convocation of MSCB University in Baripada today
President Droupadi Murmu will grace the 12th Convocation of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University in Baripada as Chief Guest today.
Baripada: President Droupadi Murmu will grace the 12th Convocation of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University here as Chief Guest on the last day of her visit to Odisha today that is on Saturday. The President will leave Circuit House today at 9:40 AM and reach MSBD university.
As per schedule, the President will offer flower tribute to the statue of King Sriramchandra then she will interact with the tribal people of the area from 10:00 to 11:00. Later, from 11:15 to 12:15, she will address the 12th convocation of the university as the chief guest. Then she will depart from the university premises at 12:25 and will head towards Palm Airport from Baripada Helipad via Koleikunda.
Yesterday, the President visited the Similipal National Park along with her family members and Police DG.She was given a grand welcome by the people at the Chahala in the core area, where local tribal food was served to her as per the tribal tradition. Later, the President went around the Similipal Garden on a special safari to see deer, sambhar and elephants. The President also visited the waterfalls at Barehipani and Joranda.
Today will be the last day of the President’s trip to her home state. She will fly back to Delhi after attending the Convocation ceremony in MSBD university.
