Pipili Triple Murder Case: Police identifies accused based on CCTV footage

Puri: All of the accused in Pipili Patnaikia Chaka triple murder case have been identified by the Police using CCTV footage. Four of the accused are also being questioned by the police.

Puri SP has confirmed that the previous enmity was the cause behind the three brothers being brutally murdered. Both the parties had even lodged complaints against each other on May 2 at Satyabadi Police Station. Post-murder investigation has revealed land dispute to be the main cause behind the Pipili triple murder case.

On July 14, miscreants had hacked to death the three brothers in broad daylight in Sardaipur village at Patnaikia Chaka. The deceased were identified as Panchu Behera, Purnachandra Behera and Krushnachandra Behera.

The locals were panic-stricken after the brutal murders. They blocked roads and protested in demand for justice for the victim’s family. Police had intervened and promised action.
