Nilachal Abhada to be available for devotees after 13 days

Puri: The Nilachal Abhada will be available for devotees on Tuesday after a span of 13 days as Lord Jagannath and his siblings returned to Srimandir. The holy trinity returned to the divine abode in a special ritual called Niladri Bije yesterday.

Due to a lunar eclipse, the Nilachal Abhada or Prasad is scheduled to be available by 12 pm today. And the daily rituals of the holy trinity will also be completed by 4 pm today.

Lords Jagannath and Balabhadra with their sister Subhadra returned to Sri Mandir after their 12-day sojourn of Rath Yatra. They entered Srimandir in a special ritual called Niladri Bije yesterday.

Rituals such as Srimukha Khandua, Mailam, Chakapocha, Singhasan Dhua were completed. Post that Madhab, Sridevi and Bhudevi entered Ratna Singhasana or bejewelled throne. Then the ritual of Mahasnana or the bath of the holy trinity was done. It ended with Sri Jagannath and his siblings entering the Ratna Singhasana.

Lakhs and lakhs of devotees had thronged to Puri Srimandir to witness the end of the Rath Yatra celebrations.
