Sambalpur: A youth in Sambalpur district of Odisha faced Rs. 30,000 fine for rash driving among other traffic rules violations.
The fine was collected by the Sambalpur town police station.
The boy was underaged and was riding a KTM luxury bike. He was caught by the police near a check-post near Lakshmi Talkies Chhak of Sambalpur district in Odisha.
Along with rash driving, the youth also had earphones in his ears. Seeing this the officers on duty stopped him and issued a challan against him.
However, because the boy was a minor, the cops contacted his father regarding the fine.
In the presence of a Transport Officer, the youth’s father had to pay a fine of Rs. 30,000 for violations of several traffic rules.
