Malkangiri: In a shocking incident, a shootout has taken place in a CRPF Camp in the Malkangiri-Telangana Border.
The shootout has been reported from Venketpuram CRPF camp, said sources.
According to reports, a heated fight took place in the CRPF camp between two Jawans. They allegedly lost their cool and shot each other with their service revolver.
One of them lost their life in the duel.
The deceased ASI has been identified as Umesh Chandra, he allegedly entered into a verbal duel with the mess in-charge who shot him in a fit of rage.
The ASI Umesh Chandra lost his life on the spot, whereas the mess in-charge is said to be critical and is being treated in Aturanagar Hospital.
