According to available reports, the husband beat his wife, killed her and threw her on the road. The dead body was recovered from Basudebpur Binaikpur road in Bhadrak District.
It is worth mentioning that, this morning the villagers informed the police after seeing the dead body lying near a bush near a road.
The deceased has been identified as Radharani, daughter of Dibakar Behera of Binaikpur village. A few years earlier, Radharani fell in love with Deepu Behera, the son of Bhagwan Behera of that village and got married.
Furthermore reports say that, the couple have a one-year-old baby daughter. After the marriage, the husband and wife went to work abroad.
But yesterday, Radharani told her father over the phone that they were returning home, later Dibakar Behera got the news that the girl’s body was found dead on the roadside this morning.
The police reached the spot where the man killed his wife in Bhadrak and recovered the body. Later, the husband Dipu reached the police station and confessed to killing his wife Radharani and throwing her away. The police have detained the husband and are questioning him as to why he killed the woman.
An investigation in this regard is underway. Detailed reports are awaited in this matter.
